This page lists my personal favorite martial arts web sites on the Internet. It is based entirely on my own prejudices, opinions, likes, and dislikes, and is heavily weighted toward arts that I either practice or am deeply interested in.

• Assault Prevention Information Network This superb page seems to have gone missing. I'm leaving the URL here for now in hopes that it will return.
• InSights Training Center I've taken a wide variety of courses from InSights, ranging from unarmed self-defense to firearms. They have the most progressive self-defense curriculum I've seen yet.
• Vermont Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Julio Fernandez is one of the few instructors who combines thorough technical proficiency with excellent teaching skills. I've trained with him since 1996, and recommend him highly.
• AWARE (Arming Women Against Rape and Endangerment) One of the few groups that seems to promote a truly holistic view of self-defense.
• Koryu Books This looks to be a great new resource for information on Japanese koryu.
• Neil Ohlenkamp's Judo Page Very well done and extensive judo info from a top instructor.
• Dan Israel's Page Interesting information on several aspects of judo and its connections with Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
• Danzan Ryu Jujutsu The best source of information on this popular modern jujutsu style, and the first one that I studied.
• BJJ.ORG The best starting point for finding info on GJJ and BJJ. Includes extensive lists of schools.
• Danny Abramovitch's Martial Arts Page Good stuff on a variety of jujutsu issues, and the home of another very popular web index page.
• L. Fowler's Page on Traditional Japanese Arts
• Brad's Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts Page
• Minnesota Martial Arts Academy Home of some of the most impressive martial skill I've ever seen.
• Solis Martial Arts
• Vorticity Martial Arts
• The Pentjak Silat Bukti Negara Home Page
• Journal of Asian Martial Arts My favorite print publication on martial arts.
